Keep Your Mouth Healthy This Summer Part 1

Tuesday, June 19, 2018

Although spending time with your friends and family is a lot of fun, dental health issues are not!

The next time you have guests over, there are some simple things you can do to make sure everyone has fun and avoids any dental emergencies. Below Dr. Lechner goes over a few of these suggestions.
  • Stock up on mouth-healthy snacks, such as vegetable and fruit trays.
  • Never chew your ice cubes! This habit is terrible for our teeth. Instead, keep drinks in an ice-filled cooler.
  • Substitute toothpicks for dental picks.
  • Drink plenty of water. Water helps wash away harmful bacteria from our mouth.
If you're in the Delaware, OH area and need a dental check-up or have any questions, we welcome you to schedule an appointment with Dr. Lechner today!

From Our Patients:

Dr. Lechner has been my dentist for as long as he's been in Delaware. He was the first dentist to recognize that my having had rheumatic fever meant that I should take an antibiotoc prior to a dentist visit. From that time forward, I have not come down with any sort of illness following a dentis appointment. Thank you for all these wonderful years of healthy teeth and general good health!
